Complaints and Grievances

PLC Aquatic is proud to support and adopt the Swimming National Integrity Framework (SNIF) to ensure our behaviours and conduct facilitate a safe, fair and healthy sporting environment for all. 

From 1 January 2024, all clubs governed by Swimming Australia (SA) will follow these SNIF rules in accordance with the following policies:

I. Safeguarding Children & Young People Policy
II. Member Protection Policy
III. Improper Use of Drugs and Medicine Policy
IV. Competition Manipulation & Sports Gambling Policy
V. Complaints, Disputes & Discipline Policy (CDDP)
VI. Code of Conduct

The NIF places the obligation on all involved in sports to report misconduct and contrary behaviour. The pathway to report your complaints are as follows:

 

1. Contact Sports Integrity Australia on 1800 161 361  or https://www.sportintegrity.gov.au/what-we-do/national-integrity-framework/making-integrity-complaint-or-report on issues of 

  • safeguarding including abuse (sexual, emotional, physical, neglect, exposure to family and domestic violence) and 

  • member protection where complaints are based on characteristics including race, disability, sex, religion or age.

2. Contact SA on integrity@swimming.org.au or the SA National Integrity Manager on 0417993846 on issues of

  • abuse, bullying, harassment, sexual misconduct, victimisation, and vilification.

  • Improper Use of Drugs and Medicine. 

  • Competition Manipulation and Sport Gambling.

  • Breach of Code of conduct where complaints refer to role model behaviours for eg. use of social media, responsible use of alcohol.
